Abstract

PhD of Art, Docent of the department of Russian music ofSt. Petersburg Conservatory after N. A. Rimsky KorsakovTatyana Vladimir Braslavskaya. - “The role of the SaintPetersburg Conservatory in the study of the work ofgenius seers of Armenian music. From Komitas toTerteryan”.The 2019 unites the 150th anniversary of Komitas and the90th anniversary of Teretyan, noting that the author immediately mentions that not only the jubilees but also the studentsof the St. Petersburg Conservatory often refer to their art andrely on the works of Armenian scholars. Conferences andmeetings are held not only at the Conservatory but also at theHouse of Nationalities, the Regional Museum and theUniversity of St. Petersburg. International students fromChina, Vietnam, Ecuador also participate in these conferences.Comparing they find a lot in common especially when composers discover very interesting expressive and technicalmeans for research.   

Author Biography

Tatyana Vladimir Braslavskaya,

Graduated with honors from Leningrad Musical andPedagogical School (1965). Pedagogs: by piano - Yu. M. Kiscachi, by conducting - L. B. Rakovitsky. From 1966 to1971 she studied at the Leningrad Conservatory at the Theoretical and Composer Faculty. Leading pedagogues:P. A. Vulfius, V. N. Alexandrov, A. L. Ostrovsky, S. L. Ginsburg, F. A. Rubtsov, G. G. Tigranov, A. N. Dmitriev,G. G. Belov, A. I. Climovitski, E. A. Elinson and others. The diploma work is written under the leadership of Prof.S. L. Ginzburg. The qualification is assigned: musicologist, teacher of historical and theoretical disciplines. In 1972 sheentered the postgraduate school of Leningrad Conservatoire, which she graduated with honors in 1975. In 1980 shedefended her thesis "Shota Rustaveli and Music" (scientific leader - Professor S.L. Ginsburg). Author of more than 50scientific and methodological works. For more than 40 years she headed the Cabinet of History of National MusicalCultures, created on the initiative of Professor Semen Lvov Ginsburg. In parallel with pedagogical activity (lectures tostudents of composer and musicology faculties on the course "History of national composer schools") works withpostgraduate students, assistant trainees of SPSC, as well she is included into the research sector of theconservatory
