Abstract

Literary scholar, editor, Ph.D. in Philology, Docent at the Russian-Armenian (Slavonic) University Ani Asatur Pashayan. - “Komitas' Poetry and “Komitas. Ten Revelations” by Vahan Artsruni”. The study of Komitas' poetry is being for the first time introduced into the scientific circulation, as works noted for their profound philosophical significance. In summary, it should be concluded that the lyric poetry of Komitas requires further study. Its symmetrical expressions, its rhythm, and content, the musicality of words and sounds, its vocabulary, as well as the optimism and the trajectory leading into the light, show a poetic area of the highest value, and they were thoroughly reflected by Vahan Artsruni in his "Komitas. Ten Revelations" Cycle.

Ani Asatur Pashayan, Russian-Armenian University - RAU

anipashayan@yahoo.com, ani.pashayan@rau.am   literary scholar, editor, journalist, Ph.D. in Philology (2007), honorarymember of the Armenian Writers Association of the USA, member of the Sub-committee on Culture of the Public Council ofthe RA (Yerevan). A. Pashayan has graduated from A. Babajanyan Music College and completed post-graduate studies inthe Faculty of Philology in YSU in 1994. She is a senior lecturer at the Department of Armenian Language and MedicalTerminology at the Mkhitar Heratsi State Medical University. Since 2002 A. Pashayan is a Docent at the Russian-Armenian(Slavonic) University, Department of Armenology. In 2007 she defended the thesis "Aghasi Ajvazyan's prose" for the Ph.D.in Philology. A. Pashayan is the author of "The Knight of Science and Spirit" monograph about the life and work of EmilGabrielyan, academician and public figure. A. Pashayan's research activity is focused on theoretical issues in literature, particularly on the problems in contemporary literature, and the works of Aghasi Ayvazyan along with the different linguisticaspects. Her research articles are published in the daily press, mainly in the "Journal of Yerevan State University", as wellas in "Nor Dar", "Nork", "Kantegh", "Andin" literary magazines, and "Grakan Tert" and "Azg" newspapers. A. Pashayan hasparticipated in numerous international scientific conferences. She is the editor of more than thirty scientific and fiction books,poetry collections, and novels, and the author of introductions to several fiction books. She is also the editor of the sevenvolume "Pocket Songbook". Since 2000 she has been studying the works of A. Ayvazyan, specifically of his prose. She hasbeen a lecturer at numerous Armenian and international and scientific conferences. A. Pashayan is the author of numerouspublications reviewing the problems of modern Armenian literature, published on various professional platforms, as well asof numerous academic studies. Most of her research is devoted to the problems of contemporary Armenian literature. A.Pashayan has opened new avenues in the study of A. Ayvazyan's works. (See: https://hy.wikipedia.org/wiki/...)
