“Фортепианные миниатюры” С. М. НАГДЯНА (к 90-летию со дня рождения композитора)

Abstract

Pianist, Docent of Yerevan State Conservatory after Komitas, Armine S. Naghdyan writes about the new collection “Piano short stories dedicated to composer Stepan Naghdyan's 90th anniversary”. It contains 17 small playing. The works, written for children and schoolchildren, also contains playing for orchestras and stringed instruments that are considered the first necessary handbooks for stating music education. Among them one can find Sofya Samvelyan's "Solfeggio" handbook that is now used in children music schools. The composer has devoted more than 50 years of his life to Armenian art upbringing.
