Abstract

This article presents the contribution of a devoted representative of the Armenian performing art, talented pianist and teacher, deserving descendant of Bogdanyan’s musical family, professor of Yerevan State Conservatory after Komitas Anahit Bogdanyan in the development and training of professional and competitive students of YKSC.
Achievements of half-century of pedagogical activity, features of teaching methods and scientific-methodological works were studied.

Author Biography

Lilit Robert Artemyan, Institute of Arts of the NAS RA

PhD in Art History. In 2007, she graduated with honors from the Piano Department at Yerevan State Komitas Conservatory (Professor Anahit Bogdanyan’s class). In 2011 she completed her post-graduate studies at Yerevan State Komitas Conservatory, specializing in Musical Arts (supervisor - PhD in Art History, Professor M. Kokzhaev). In 2012 she defended her thesis at the Institute of Arts of the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia on "Performing Challenges in Piano Works of Armenian Composers Written in Compositional Techniques of the 20th Century" (supervisor Ph. D in Art History, Professor M. Kokzhaev) and was awarded the academic title of PhD in Art History (2013). In 2015, by decision of the Academic Council of the Institute of Arts of the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia and with the financial support of the Youth Foundation of Armenia, the monograph " Performing Challenges in Piano Works of Armenian Composers Written in Compositional Techniques of the 20th Century " was published, as part of a young scholars support program. Lilit Artemyan’s research interests include Armenian new and contemporary music. She has presented papers at national and international conferences. She is the author of a monograph and about 45 scientific articles.
