Abstract

The article is dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the establishment of YSC Gyumri Branch. The article pres ents the role and significance of the project "Contemporary Composers and Performers in Gyumri" in raising the educational level of YSC Gyumri Branch, and improving cognition, communication and knowledge.

Author Biography

Bella Tigran Hovhannisyan, Gyumri Branch of Yerevan State Komitas Conservatory

She graduated from Departments of Composition (class of Prof. A. Satyan) and Piano (class of Associate Professor N. Gyozalyan) of Gyumri Branch of Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory. In 2017 she was Head of "Composition, Conducting" Department. In 2017-2018, she was the coordinator of the nomination "Composition" of the international contest-festival "Renaissance". Since 2009, she has been working at the Gyumri branch of Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory as a lecturer (speciality, instrumentation, instrumen- tology, choral re-arrangement, score reading, general piano). She is author of the educational manual "Rhythm-dictations". In 2017-2020 she taught Harmony, Solfeggio in KOHAR musical school. She is a laureate of international competitions. She was the Grand Prize winner of the international contest-festival. Her works have been performed in Austria and Russia. She has collaborated with the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra, Armenian State Youth Symphony Orchestra, Armenian TV and Radio Jazz-Symphony Orchestra, as well as Gyumri State Chamber Orchestra. She has been awarded Certificate of Appreciation and Certificate of Honor by the mayor of Gyumri. She is member of the Composers’ Union of the Republic of Armenia.
