Abstract

The article presents the history of the creation of "Humoresques" by Souren Zakarian. A detailed analysis of the peculiarities of the structure of the "Humoresque-mosaic" and their difference from other ways of development. The article is distinguished by a respectful attitude to Khachaturian's text. The author also emphasizes S. Zakarian's proficiency in the minimalistic style.

Author Biography

Hasmik Valeri Ter-Antonyan , Yerevan State Conservatory

(b. 1965 in Yerevan). In 1988 she has graduated from the Department of Piano at YSC (docent I. M. Tsaturyan's class), in 1997 she completed postgraduate studies at YSC (prof. I. M. Yavryan's class). Worked as accompanist at the Department of Choir Conducting at the Kh. Abovyan State Pedagogical University (1988-1990), at the Department of String Instruments at Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory (since 1994, prof. Z. Sargsyan's class), an assistant at the Department of Piano (since 1997, prof. Yavyan's class). From 2002-2015 she was a pedagogue at the Department of Solo Piano at the YSC. She was an accompanist at numerous republican and international competitions. Since 2011 she is a Docent at Yerevan State Conservatory. H. Ter-Antonyan is the author of the following articles: "Anton Webern, Piano Variations Op.27, Interpretation Features and Importance for Pedagogical Practice" //Arvest yev Zhamanak, 2009; "Four Rhythm Studies by Olivier Messiaen. Methodological Recommendations". New Anthology of Piano Works by Armenian Composers and their Implementation in Pedagogical Practice" //YSC Collection of Educational Works, 2010. Presently H. Ter-Antonyan is an accompanist at the Department of String Instruments at the YSC.
