Abstract

Musicologist, PhD, Docent of YSC Lilit Karlen Yepremya.- “Attendant of Art Sargis Torosyan”.The article is dedicated to the memory of the early passedaway professor of YSC, famous singer Sargis Torgom Torosyan.During his short life (1956-2016) he left a significant mark onthe musical culture of Armenia, showing himself as acomprehensively gifted performer. The soloist of the NationalOpera and Ballet Theater after Spendiaryan, a concert performerof chamber music, he also proved himself in the oratory genre,and was also an expert of Armenian spiritual music. For manyyears he was the soloist of the choir at the Cathedral ofSt. Echmiadzin. Musicologist Lilit Yepremian conducted a numberof exclusive interviews with colleagues of the musician who alongwith an assessment of his professional merits, added a personalnote to the collective image of the singer.  

Author Biography

Lilit Karlen Yepremyan , Yerevan State Conservatory

 (born of 14.05.1963, Yerevan) - the musicologist, the psychologist, the sociologist, the journalist, the translator, genocide examiner, art candidate, In 1989 graduated from YSC on specialty of musicologist (chair of the theory of music, a class of the prof. N. V. Deroyan). In 1993 got a postgraduate degree in YSC together with the State institute of Art Studies (Moscow, a class of PhD of art I. R. Eolyan). In 1995 in SIA (Moscow) protected master's thesis. In 2001 graduated from the Center of training of Practical psychologists at the Yerevan State university, in 2006 from the Caucasian mass media Institute on specialty of regional studies. In her researches uses methods in the field of musicological and interdisciplinary sciences. From 1996 to the present she teaches in YSC and she is a docent since 2002. She worked as correspondent in the newspaper "Novoe Vremya". The author of the monograph "Edward Mirzoyan in letters and dialogues", Yer., Tigran Mets., 2011., -616 P. The practicing psychologist is engaged in a phenomenon of ethnic tradition, questions of city folklore, a problem of a transgeneration trauma of Genocide of Armenians. She is the author of more than 20 scientific articles, including "Ethnocultural approach in the sociology of music," Liks of ethnic tradition, "Whether we are guilty, or " Learned helplessness "as the death of " internal agent, "Marginalization as fate," Fateful choice (to the problem of understanding the vectors of development of Armenian music of the 20th century), "etc., more than 500 journalistic articles. She is a practicing psychologist, member of the RA Composers Union of RA (since 1997) and Writers (since 2016).
